God Gives Hugs

Dear child of God,

Do you feel alone?

Are you starting to hold things in because no one can truly understand?

Are you annoyed that you’re not strong enough and don’t want anyone to know?

Or maybe there’s just an issue that no one can truly understand?

It sounds like you need someone in your corner. Someone who truly gets you. Comfort.

Here’s the thing: you have God, and He gets you. He gets your weaknesses. He gets your strengths. He gets your weary moments. You don’t have to be strong with Him, you just have to come to Him as you are, in full surrender. He wants to shower His love and comfort over you in this moment. Don’t overthink it, oh yeah, don't. He does care. He’s not too far away that He doesn’t know your weaknesses, and guess what, He accepts you just as you are! He knows you can be better, and He wants to help you. Come unto Him, beloved friend! For He cares for you.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too. (2 Cor 1: 3 -5)

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are. (Heb 4: 15)
